A special TADA court on Friday held Mustafa Dossa, the prime accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts guilty of conspiracy along with underworld don Abu Salem and Firoz Abdul Rashid Khan.
Dossa was found guilty of attending conspiracy meetings in India and Dubai, arranging for arms with his brother, Mohammed, and making travel arrangements so the other accused could meet Dawood Ibrahim.

The court is hearing the case against seven accused — Abu Salem, Mustafa Dossa, Karimullah Khan, Firoz Abdul Rashid Khan, Riyaz Siddiqui, Tahir Merchant and Abdul Quayyum.

The court also held that Tahir facilitated the supply of arms and training of the accused in Pakistan. Terming his role “communal”, the court said he was one of the initiators of the conspiracy.
The court also found Firoz Khan guilty of participating in conspiratorial meetings held at Dawood Ibrahim’s Dubai residence.
On 12 March, 1993, a series of 12 blasts rocked Mumbai, killing 257 people and injuring 713 others.
