Urdi Bazar Jagadhatri Puja Committee spreads message of environmental conservation
The Urdi Bazar Jagadhatri Puja Committee has adopted the theme of saving greenery to protect our environment.
UN Environment Programme Executive Director Erik Solheim on Thursday condoled the death of Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave, describing him as a wonderful advocate for environment.
"Deeply sad to hear that Anil Dave has passed away," Solheim tweeted. He said Dave was "such a wonderful advocate for the environment — we'll miss him dearly".
Dave died here on Thursday.
