How James Cameron helped Zoe Saldana in ‘Avatar’ to ‘Star Trek’
Zoe Saldana credits James Cameron for helping her transition from 'Avatar' to 'Star Trek', overcoming typecasting fears, and reflecting on her journey in sci-fi.
Actress Zoe Saldana says her film career has helped her in dealing with the male energy in her personal life and knows how to handle being “outnumbered” by them.
The 38-year-old actress says her action films have kept her on toes and it has been a learning experience, reported ET Online.
“I'm used to it. I've done all these action movies that I'm usually outnumbered (in), you know?” Saldana joked at the premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.

The actress recently gave birth to her third son, Zen, in February and has two-year-old twins, Cy and Bowie, with husband Marco Perego.
Talking about her children, Saldana says, “Once they grow up and they become dudes, I'm gonna rub it in their face. I'm gonna be so girly, they're gonna be annoyed by their mom every single day.”
