Here's a quick and easy to make recipe on it.
Serves: 3; Preparation time: 15 minutes; Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients: Basmati rice I cup, Water 2 cups, Soya nuggets ½ cup, Carrot 1 medium, French beans 10, Onion 1 medium, Saffron 10 threads, Bay leaves 2, Cinnamon stick 1, Cumin seeds ½ tsp, Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp, Salt to taste, Pure ghee 2 tbsp

Method:
Wash the rice and soak for 15 minutes.
Wash soya nuggets and soak for 15 minutes separately.
Soak saffron in little water for 15 minutes.
Cut onion, carrot and French beans length wise 2” long and ¼” broad.
Heat the ghee in a big pan.
Add cumin seeds, bay leaves and cinnamon stick.
Put all the vegetables and the soaked nuggets in the pan and stir fry for five minutes.
Add red chilli powder, salt and water along with saffron.
Bring it to boil on high flame and add soaked rice.
Cook covered on low flame till the rice is done and water dries up.
Serve hot with curd and fresh coriander chutney.
