Dhoni, who faced backlash for his slow-paced innings in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, was speculated to hang up his boots from international cricket after Team India’s outing to England and Wales for the mega event. However, putting all the speculations aside, the 38-year-old has not clarified anything about his future yet.
The statement from Paswan comes months prior to the Jharkhand Assembly polls which are scheduled to be held later this year. It is believed that Dhoni may even be the chief ministerial face of the BJP in the upcoming Jharkhand polls.
