English cricket commentator and former cricketer Michael Vaughan took a dig at cricketer-turned-commentator Sanjay Manjrekar after the latter included India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in his predicted XI for the semi-finals against New Zealand.
Notably, Manjrekar was indulged in a Twitter spat recently with Jadeja when the former called Jadeja a “bits and pieces player” and Jadeja lashed out at him calling his comment as “verbal diarrhoea” in a tweet.
Replying to Manjrekar’s prediction XI tweet, Vaughan said, “I see you have picked that bits and pieces cricketer !!!”
To this the Manjrekar replied, “‘Predicted’ my dear Vaughan…not ‘my’ team.”
The Men in Blue are through to the semi-finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 as they ended their league matches as the table toppers.
India face New Zealand next in the semi-final on Tuesday (9 July) in Manchester.
