Spanish police arrested a 25-year-old Pakistani national on Tuesday on suspicion of indoctrination and spreading jihadi propaganda.
Tuesday’s arrest was a direct result of a police operation in June in which three Pakistani brothers were detained for their role in organising a jihadi group which had “an extremely radical ideology”, Xinhua news agency quoted the Interior Ministry as saying.
The suspect was reported to have used his Facebook page to “consume and spread” the propaganda messages by publishing videos of suicide attacks, praising terrorist groups and their leaders and instigating terrorist acts.
The arrest takes the number of people arrested for suspected extremism in Spain since the start of 2015 to 245.
