A Pakistani court has extended the house arrest of Mumbai terror attack mastermind, Hafiz Saeed, by a month.

Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief, Hafiz Saeed, has been under house arrest since 31 January this year.

On Tuesday, the Lahore High Court directed the Saeed’s counsel to file a fresh application against the latest order of the Punjab Home Department for extending his detention by another 30 days starting from Monday, the media reports said on Wednesday.

Saeed is accused by India for being the mastermind behind the Mumbai terror attack in November 2008, which left 166 Indians and several foreigners dead.

After founding Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit he later renamed it to Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD).
