Finally, the wait is over for the candidates, who appeared for Bangladesh JDC exam 2017 (Junior Dhakil Certificate), JSC exam 2017 (Junior School Certificate) as the Bangladesh Education Board released the results online on Saturday, for all education boards at www.educationboardresults.gov.
A total of 191,628 students achieved GPA-5 this year, compared to 247,588 in 2016.
A total of 83.65% students came out successful in this year’s Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dhakil Certificate (JDC) examinations, which is 9.41% lower than that of the previous year.
Results of the Junior School Certificate, Junior Dakhil Certificate, Primary School Certificate and Ebtedayee examinations were declared online on Saturday at 2.00 PM.
Some 184,397 JSC students obtained GPA 5, while 7,231 JDC students got this highest grade. The pass rate in the JSC exam alone is 83.10% while that in the JDC is 86.80%.
The JSC and JDC examinations were held between November 1 and 18. A total of 2,468,820 students from 28,621 educational institutions appeared in this year’s examinations.
As per the reports, Prime Minister might participate in a video conference with teachers and students from some schools across the country.
