Six crushed to death under a dumper in UP village, 3 injured

In a major road accident in Uttar Pradesh, six people were killed when a dumper crushed them while sitting at a roadside tea stall under the Gurubaksh police station area in Rae Bareli district early on Wednesday morning. Three others were injured in the incidents.
Recounting the incident, the police said the driver lost control over the dumper due to blinding fog in the area. As a result the vehicle fell into a canal after trampling people sitting at the roadside tea stall in Khagiakheda village.
Five people died on the spot while another succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. All the deceased were the residents of Khagiyakheda village. They were identified as Lalai (65), Lallu (50), Ravindra (35), Gutku (50), Shiv Mohan (45) and Santosh (40).
State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has conveyed condolences to the families of the deceased. He has also given instructions for relief and rescue work.
