With Diwali just around the corner, social networking site Twitter, on Thursday launched ‘Lights On Diya’—a new emoji allowing its users to control how high the diyas flame burns during Diwali.

When viewed in light mode, the diya emoji would appear with a small flame. But, when the users would turn to night mode, the flames would burn brighter.
Currently, there are two variants of Twitter’s dark mode, dim and lights out. Dim is already available. while the lights out was rolled out for web, iOS and Android earlier this week.
The ‘Lights On Diya’ emoji will be available till 29th October.
It would also render in eleven languages including Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil and Telugu allowing a diverse set of people to celebrate Diwali and join the public conversation.
