Spuul, a popular online subscription-based video streaming platform, has announced a partnership with Ola and its connected car platform, Ola Play.
Last year, Ola launched Play, providing its customers with a service that will help them engage their time in the cabs. Ola Play is a personalised device attached to the cab using which the commuter can access Internet services. The device allows the customers to track their ride, listen to music, watch videos and read eBooks.
Ola Play saves the browser history of every user accordingly and allows the user to resume exactly where one left off, in the next ride. This feature also enables the team of Ola Play to create and implement changes as per the preferences of their large customer-base. After positive feedback to Ola Play, Ola went ahead Spuul tie-up.
Headquartered at Singapore, Spuul’s library offers its users with some of the biggest blockbuster movies from recognised banners like Dharma Productions, Red Chillies, and Fox Star amongst many others. Rajiv Vaidya, India CEO of Spuul, says, “We are thrilled to partner with Ola and reach out to Ola Play’s fans through our unique offering. Ola’s connected car platform offers an extraordinary experience by enabling a productive and an engaging time for the passenger. Given the traffic congestion in our metro cities, the access to our library on the go will enable an exciting ride for every Ola customer.”
Ola customers can enjoy access to Spuul’s content in Prime Play cars, rentals and outstation cabs. “At Ola, we are constantly working towards creating unique customer experiences and our association with Spuul is another endeavor to provide the best in-car experience to our customers”, says an Ola spokesperson.
Customers across Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Pune can now connect with Ola Play.
