Samsung unveils Odyssey G9, G7 curved gaming monitors ahead of CES

Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 is yet to begin, but it seems like Samsung cannot wait anymore and therefore, it has introduced its new line-up of curved Odyssey gaming monitors that absolutely amazing.

 

 

The Odyssey G9 model – with 49-inch display and the G7, available in 32-inch and 27-inch, both Odyssey gaming monitors are redesigned and take gaming to the next level.

These two new monitors are aimed to serve gamer’s needs for speed, responsiveness and minimal distractions were kept into account, equipping them with the best gaming experience possible.

The Odyssey G9 is the first 5,120 x 1,440 ultra-wide display with a 240Hz refresh rate and a 1ms pixel response time. you will not have to pick from the smooth performance and expansive high resolution visuals. It is also industry’s first high performance 1000R curved display with an Eye Comfort certificate attached to it. It is also compatible with DisplayHDR 1000 brightness as well as AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync.

If you think that this was it, then wait for more. The G7 model comes with 2,560 x 1,440 resolution with the same 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, 1000R curvature, FreeSync and G-Sync. The brightness level is not as high as it is in G9, with Display HDR600, but that should not be a problem for a gamer.

So far, the company has just revealed the products and their pricing are yet to be announced. But it’s likely that the pricing would justify the specs the company is offering.
