The Android 13 OS and One UI 5.0 customisations are coming to the Samsung Galaxy F23 5G in India via an OTA update. It has a firmware download size of about 2.7GB and is shipped with version E236BXXU1BVL1.

Last week, Samsung released the One UI 5 update for the Galaxy F22,  based on Android 13.

Instead of the latest security patch for this month, the update uses the one from November 2022. Typically, Samsung delivers an update that includes a new version of Android together with an older security patch, and then another update that includes the most recent security patch.

The Galaxy F23 should receive the following security update in Q1 2023 because it is included in Samsung’s quarterly update plan.

Indian owners of the Galaxy F23 can now update by going to Settings » Software updates and selecting Download and install. Users can manually install the update after downloading it from our firmware database.

Samsung’s own skin, One UI 5.0, which runs on Android 13, has a redesigned user interface design, more capabilities, and improved speed. Dynamic app icons that can change colour to match the wallpaper colour on the home screen, smoother animation, improved transition effects, and new blur effects throughout the UI are some of the visual changes, and a strong AI camera, which can read any text written on a card or paper are among some key improvement in One UI 5.0.
