Samsung Galaxy S9

Samsung is all set to unveil its latest flagship successor smartphones – Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ on February 25 in Barcelona.

Samsung will be hosting the “Galaxy Unpacked 2018” event at 12pm ET (10:30pm IST) on February 25, ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018.

The company has started sending out invitations for the event with the number 9 for Galaxy S9 and teasing upgraded camera technology “The Camera Reimagined” caption. The South Korean giant has also posted a short teaser video on Twitter which also focuses on camera.

Following the company’s tradition, we for certain know that Samsung will be launching two Galaxy S series flagships together, Samsung Galaxy S9 alongside a slightly larger model Samsung Galaxy S9+.

The smartphones are expected to look very similar to their immensely successful predecessors, the S8 and S8+ which came out in 2017.

The popular leakster Evan Blass has also posted images of the two Galaxy S9 smartphones on Twitter, suggesting almost similar frontal design as the previous generation phones. It appears that Samsung might go for dual-Selfie camera instead, and that can be the case with the rear camera as well. But unless anything comes from Samsung, there can’t be anything official about it.
