Google quietly retired its AI-powered camera product ‘Google Clips’, as the gadget is removed from the product listing on the company’s online store.
The US-based tech giant had released Google Clips in 2017 for $249. It featured a 12-megapixel sensor, 130-degree field-of-view lens and 8GB of internal memory.
The device was designed to leverage modern technology that automatically captures and saves users’ lives precious moments round the clock.
As per the reports, the Google Clip had failed to form its special space in the market, especially because of its high price. Other than that, several users claimed that the gadget was not as functional as they had hoped it.
