Now, with the release of a new update for Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, users of this TWS will be able to record 360-degree sound for videos on their phones. Binaural audio can be recorded using the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and then synced with video from a Samsung Galaxy smartphone running One UI 5.0.

According to Samsung, this implies that individuals who watch your films will experience the action firsthand and hear “lifelike and immersive noises that simulate an in-person experience.”

The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro were released in August 2022 and are priced at Rs. 17,999 in India.

With the new update, users can use the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4’s new “360 Audio Recording” feature from Samsung to record videos using the left and right microphones on their Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

The audio recreates the environment where it was recorded when played back through stereo headphones.

According to Samsung, “The feature picks up 360-degree sound using a microphone in each earbud, placing viewers at the centre of a roaring festival crowd or beside a bubbling brook in the middle of a forest.” Users can pop in connected headphones and playback the video on their device or social media channel to hear lifelike and immersive sounds that emulate an in-person experience.

By extending the range of auditory perceptions, low-energy (LE) audio creates a more complex and rich sound that can be enjoyed by others. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro now support binaural recording from LE Audio, which simultaneously uses the left and right microphones.

As Bluetooth LE audio compatibility is required, you can currently only use the 360-degree audio recording feature of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro if you own a Galaxy Z Flip4 or Galaxy Z Fold4. Certainly, the future Galaxy S23 devices will feature it as well.
