Call of Duty Mobile is part of the popular Call of Duty franchise from the world of PC and console gaming. However, it doesn’t fall into the storylines of the PC games and is just a standalone installation for fans and players of the series who want the familiar COD experience on the move.
The game brings all the familiar modes from the PC version but also offers its own twist to the ‘Battle Royale’ genre in a dedicated mode. Fans of the franchise will get to experience all the familiar weapons, gameplay styles, popular characters, vehicles and more.
Call of Duty Mobile: How to download
- For both Android and iOS users, the game is available on Play Store and App Store respectively. Users can head over to the app stores in both the platform and download it.
- The game will require access to your Facebook account in order to save your gameplay progress across all your devices. However, there’s also a guest mode if you don’t want the game to access your Facebook profile data.
- The game may not be available on many budget phones. Hence, it could be only present for users of flagship Android phones and newer iPhones. The developers have said the support will be extended on all devices soon.
Call of Duty Mobile: Nuances
- The game brings the classic Call of Duty gameplay modes to the table. Whether under-ranked or unranked matches, players can choose to participate in Search and Destroy, Team Deathmatch, Free for All, Domination, Hardpoint and Frontline modes. Even some of the iconic maps such as Crash, Crossfire, Hijacked, Standoff, Killhouse and Firing Range are available on the mobile version.
- If you love going all berserk about weapons, this is the game for you. You can develop your arms and ammunitions to get the edge over your rivals on the battlefield.
- Call of Duty Mobile also has a battle royale mode that’s quite similar to PUBG MOBILE but offers a more fun way of playing it. While playing with a squad, you can choose from a few roles for your in-game character, specializing in one skill or the other.
- You’ll get the latest graphics with higher details compared to PUBG MOBILE. Character uniforms and weapon detailing are easily the best in the mobile gaming industry right now. On high-end phones, you can even see better graphics with stunning effects.
Battle Royale
One of the biggest highlights of COD Mobile is the battle royale mode. Spot the multiplayer menu and choose between games and maps. You can get started with the popular Call of Duty experiences such as Frontline, Team Deathmatch, Gun Game, and Search & Destroy. As you progress, you can earn Operator Skill, Equipment, Perks, and have more Loadout slots. You can also invite your friends to join the game.
“From here, all it takes is a few more Multiplayer matches to get access to another main game mode within Call of Duty: Mobile: Battle Royale. At this point, you might hit the 30-minute mark and reach a fork in the road: do you drop into that first Battle Royale game? Or hop right back into Multiplayer? Click here to get a more in-depth view of Multiplayer over the next 30 minutes…or here to see what might happen during those first few Battle Royale matches,” said COD Mobile.
