Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) customers can soon enjoy telephone service through internet any SIM or mobile network.
Addressing a Press conference, the chief general manager (telecom)Punjab Circle, SK Gupta said BSL is going to provide telephone service through internet to its customers named “Wings”.
For this service, customer would not need any SIM or mobile network. To avail this, customers have to download app named SIP in their smartphone and connect their phone to a Wi-Fi. Once connected with Wi-Fi one can make any number of calls to any network across India. There will be one-time registration charges of Rs.1099/- to avail this service.
In Broad Band segment BSNL had launched a very cost effective and affordable promotional unlimited Data and Calling plans BBG Combo ULD45GB plan, BBG Combo ULD 150GB plan, BBG Combo ULD 300GB plan & BBGCombo ULD 600GB at a very nominal charges of Rs 99, Rs199, Rs 299 andRs491 respectively, he said.
Customer can download up to 45 GB, 150 GB, 300 GB and 600 GB with a high bandwidth up to 20Mbps till 1.5 GB per day, 5 GB per day, 10 GB per day and 20GB per day as per their plan requirement. After six months, customer will be migrated to regular Broadband plans.
In Landline segment, BSNL had launched a plan ” LL 99″ ONNET plan on regular basis for PAN India basis which offers Unlimited voice callsign BSNL Network (Local+STD) ONNET ( within India ) with a monthly rent of Rs 99 only.
BSNL has also introduced ASEEM Plan wherein a virtual landline is allotted to the customer and all incoming calls to this number are forwarded to a selected Mobile number of BSNL or any other operator at just Rs 99/- per year or Rs199/- per year, Gupta said.
In mobile segment, the market share of BSNL PB is 13.37% with total subscriber base of 5440290. To cater to the needs of both Pre-paid aswell as Post-Paid customers, BSNL is enduring to provide attractive packages for all classes of customers. For its voice-only customers,BSNL launched STV-39, 99 & 319 having validity of 10, 26, & 90 days respectively.
