Bose QC35 II headphones with integrated Google Assistant support launched in India

Global audio equipment maker Bose on Thursday launched “QC35 II” headphones with noise-cancellation and support for Google Assistant in India.

The release of QC35 II marks the first integration of Google Assistant in a headphone. The “QC35 II” headphones are available in black and silver colours at Rs 29,363.

“We didn’t change anything in ‘QC35’ that people already love. With Google Assistant built-in and new choices for what you hear, we made it better,” said Brian Maguire, Director, Bose on-the-go products, in a statement.

The device sports an “Action Button” on the left earcup to connect the user with Google Assistant, without the need to hold the smartphone, unlock it and find the app. Bose “QC35 II” headphones pack in the same features of the original QC35. The headphones deliver up to 20 hours of battery life.

The user can press and hold the “Action Button” to activate Google Assistant that will help manage music and get things done such as play a playlist or a favourite song by a favourite artist. It can also add appointments to the user’s Google calendar.

QC35 II’s noise-cancellation is fully activated when the headphone is on. The “Bose Connect App” now lets the user choose to keep it either on (high), (low), or disable it completely (off).
