In the 12th match of the Women’s Asia Cup 2018, Sri Lanka skipper Hasini Perera won the toss and invited Harmanpreet Kaur -led India to field at the Royal Selangor Club, Kuala Lumpur, on Thursday.
In the Thursday’s match, Women-in-Blue will aim for the top spot in the points table, Sri Lanka, on the other hand, will fight for survival in the series.
On the points table, while the Women-in-Blue is at the third spot with two consecutive wins and one loss in three games. On the other hand, Islanders are at the fourth spot with two wins and one loss.
After Sri Lanka, the Indian team will play their next game and 13th match of the tournament against arch-rival Pakistan on Saturday.
Sri Lanka will next take on Thailand on 9 June.
