Women’s Asia Cup| INDW vs BANW: Harmanpreet Kaur wins toss, opts to bat

In the 9th match of the Women’s Asia Cup 2018, Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and invited Salma Khatun-led Bangladesh to field first at the Kinrara Academy Oval, Kuala Lumpur, on Wednesday.

On the point table, while the Women-in-Blue have consolidated their position at the top of the table with two consecutive wins over Malaysia and Thailand by 142 and 66 runs, respectively. On the other hand, Bangladesh is at the fourth spot with one win and one loss.

After Bangladesh, the Indian team will play their next game and 12th match of the tournament against Sri Lanka on Wednesday.

Bangladesh will next take on Thailand women on 7 June.
