Shikhar Dhawan, is one of those players who rarely gift his wicket to the opposition team by getting run out. However, the explosive Indian opener went back to the pavilion because of run-out during the opening ODI match between India and South Africa on Thursday.
Shikhar Dhawan was nearing towards his fifty when his prolific record for running between the wickets was dented as his innings came to a premature end through a run-out.
On the second ball of 13th over bowled by Chris Morris, Indian skipper Virat Kohli tried to steal a run when Dhawan fell short of the crease and was sent back to the stands.
