The English team is in Sri Lanka for a long tour where they will play 5 One Day Internationals (ODIs), 3 Tests and 1 T20I against Islanders.
The opening ODI between Sri Lanka and England was played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla, but rain washed out the match. The second ODI was also rain affected but Eoin Morgan’s side won the match by 31 runs (DLS method). Eoin Morag was awarded the Man of the match trophy for his gritty 92 run knocks.
