Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi, who is having a great time in the ongoing Global T20 competition in Canada, grabbed netizens’ attention after the stump mic caught him telling his teammate Wahab Riaz ‘Pagal’.
Batting with compatriot Wahab Riaz, Afridi hit the last ball for a single down to long-off. Riaz asked Shahid if he wanted to sneak a second run. To this, Afridi came up with a hilarious reply, “Pagal hai kya, bowling kaun karega (Are you mad? Who will bowl then?).”
In no time, the reply started doing rounds on various social media platforms.

On Sunday, Afridi scored a brilliant 81 not out off just 40 balls as his side — Brampton Wolves — defeated Edmonton Royals by 27 runs. The all-rounder’s blitzkrieg reminded the fans of vintage Afridi, playing fearlessly and smacking the bowlers out of the park.
Afridi’s knock bagged him the Man of the Match award. During the course of his innings, Afridi smashed 10 boundaries and 5 sixes that propelled Brampton Wolves to 207 for five in 20 overs. Chasing a giant target, Edmonton Royals could manage 180 runs in their stipulated quota of overs and hence lost the match by 27 runs.
