Team India wicket-keeper and former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni once again showed why the fans’ request to change the Decision Review System (DRS) to ‘Dhoni Review System’ is not an aberration.

On Sunday, during the match between India and Pakistan, MS Dhoni once again got a DRS call right which ended Imam-ul-Haq’s stay at the crease. The incident took place on the final ball of the 8th over of Pakistan’s innings. Yuzvendra Chahal was bowling to Imam-ul-Haq and he had trapped the Pakistani opener in front of the stumps on the last ball of the over but the umpire turned down India’s appeal.

After the on-field umpire turned down India’s appeal, Dhoni took one look at skipper Rohit Sharma and just nodded his head. Rohit duly obliged and quickly asked for the DRS.

The three reds showed up on the replay and once again MS Dhoni proved his mastery over the DRS.

During the match, even on-air commentators Sunil Gavaskar and Laxman Sivaramakrishnan heaped praises on MS Dhoni for his genius review.

“What a genius that man is — MSD. He is incredible. He was the one who encouraged skipper Rohit Sharma to go for the review and see what it is. Absolutely spot on!,” Gavaskar said while commentating.

After the incident, cricket fans, rather MSD fans went gaga on Twitter:
