Indian Women’s cricket team skipper Harmanpreet Kaur shined in her debut match as Lancashire Thunder beat Surrey Stars by five wickets in Kia Super League 2018 (England Women’s domestic T20 tournament).
Ace Indian batter scored a winning 34 runs from 21 deliveries and guided her side to five-wicket victory. During her innings, Kaur struck three boundaries and a single hit over the fence. The highlight of Harman’s innings was when she smashed Laura Marsh for a six to help her side sail over the line.

Following the target of 149 runs, Lancashire Thunder needed 11 runs to win in the last over and that’s when Kaur displayed her brilliance by striking the fifth ball for a six.
Ace Australian batter Nicole Bolton top scored with 87 runs off 61 deliveries for Lancashire Thunder. During her innings, Bolton hit 13 boundaries while opening for the side.
After the win over Surrey Stars, Lancashire Thunder have moved to the third in the points table of the six-team league.
