Usually clubs take digs at each other before and after clashes but post Manchester United’s triumph over Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup semi-final, the competition’s official Twitter handle took a massive swipe at Harry Kane, much to the delight of all rival supporters.

United edged Spurs 2-1 in a tense semi-final at Wembley Stadium, with Dele Alli firing the Lilywhites ahead but the Red Devils responded with goals from Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera to extend the North Londoners’ miserable FA Cup semi-final run.

The North Londoners fell at the last-four hurdle for the eight time on the trot, with Kane in particular struggling to make an impact.

Kane, despite being in the midst of his best-ever season (in terms of goals) to date, has come under a lot of stick from rival fans of late.
