India batsman Suresh Raina, who is currently recovering from a knee surgery, shared a video with an inspirational message on social media app Twitter on Tuesday.

In the video, Raina can be seen walking on the treadmill with proper support.

“It might be tough, but you won’t quit. You might be going through a tough time, but you won’t quit. It is hard to change your mind and body and become better. It’s really hard. And it’s easier to quit than to keep on pushing forward,” tweeted Raina.

Prior to this, Raina had posted a heartfelt message on his social media handles updating his fans about his health.

“I am out of surgery and healing steadily, for which I thank my doctors, family, friends, and everyone who has wished me good health and speedy recovery,” the left-handed batsman posted on Twitter and Instagram.

Notably, the left-handed batsman will not be available for most part of India’s upcoming domestic season which begins with Duleep Trophy on 17 August.

The 32-year-old southpaw last played for India in an ODI against England in 2018.

Raina, a World Cup winner in 2011, has played 18 Tests, 226 ODIs and 78 T20Is. He was last involved in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Chennai Super Kings.
