Premier League Manchester United are struggling to net goals this season. The fact that they have sold their star player Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan has only added to their set of worries. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now stated that Mason Greenwood might be the forward included in the team for the match against Arsenal.

Now with Manchester United facing injury concerns as far as their strikers are concerned, the troubles have only piled up. It even cost them a match against West Ham United previous weekend in the Premier League.

Anthony Martial was initially ruled out with an injury and he was then joined by Marcus Rashford, who injured his hamstring during the match against West Ham United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now come out and stated that Greenwood could be a regular starter for Manchester United. This is because of injuries to regular strikers Martial and Rashford.

“I wouldn’t put my life on it,” Solskjaer was quoted as saying by Fox Sports Asia when asked if Martial and Rashford would be fit for the Arsenal clash.

“Mason has proven when he’s been on the pitch – against Astana and Rochdale – that when you get him in the box he’s dangerous,” he added.

“What’s pleased me about him is he doesn’t turn down chances to finish and he’s not 18 yet so I’m not worried about him at all.

“We’ve managed him (so far) and I can’t just throw him in the deep end all the time (but) he’s proved in those games he’s ready for the Premier League so I’ll have the weekend to think about it?” he stated.
