It looks like fixing a trophy might become a hot job in the years to come, if the trend of footballers dropping titles while celebrating is anything to go by and Sergio Ramos’ response to Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan’s request has gone viral, much to the delight of Twitter denizens.

Gundogan’s rib-tickling original tweet:

Ramos’ equally uproarious response:

As the German’s post shows, City might be in need of a repair man for Oleksandr Zinchenko inadvertently tipped the Premier League trophy over while celebrating Yaya Toure’s winner’s medal with much gusto.

The Ukrainian fullback’s face was a picture as he realised the horror of his gaffe, but thankfully no lasting damage was done to the Sky Blues’ fifth top-flight league title.

Probably due to the fact that the pedestal was not too far above the ground, but that didn’t stop Zinchenko from getting trolled on virtually every social media platform.

Ramos, of course, has been in a similar situation before as the Real Madrid captain famously dropped the Copa del Rey trophy in 2011 while the Los Blancos were on a open-top bus parade of the Spanish capital.

His blunder was on a much larger scale as the trophy did reportedly require fixing as it fell from a relatively great height.
