The COVID-19 pandemic, which has wreaked havoc globally and killed more than 24,300 people and affected 5,42,300 people, has already unleashed its venom in India as well where over 870 people have been infected with 20 fatalities.

In an attempt to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 24 announced a nationwide lockdown till April 14.
