Sachin Tendulkar gets surprise visit from this “good friend”

Former rivals and cricket greats Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara have given many memorable moments for fans to cherish for years and entertained cricket aficionados across the globe with their batting performances.

Sachin Tendulkar has represented India in a whopping 200 Test matches and scored 15,921 runs in the longest format of the game with an average of a little over 53. Lara, on the other hand, has scored 11,953 in 131 Test matches with an average of 52.88.

On Friday, October 19, Sachin Tendulkar posted a picture of himself along with Lara on Instagram and wrote, “Great way to welcome the weekend … surprise visit from a good friend. Chillin’ with #BrianLara 😉 #FridayFun.”

Both Lara and Tendulkar are celebrated as two of the most prolific batsmen to have graced the game.

The stylish West Indies southpaw also holds the highest score of an unbeaten 400 in the longest format of the game. Lara has also scored 10,405 from 299 One Day Internationals (ODIs) with the help of 19 centuries and 63 fifties and at an average of 40.48.

Sachin Tendulkar is the highest run-getter in the one-dayers. He has scored 18,426 ODI runs with the help of 49 centuries and 96 fifties.
