Manchester City vs Newcastle United is the late kickoff on Saturday night in the Premier League and the lineups for the fixture at the Etihad Stadium are out.

City are starting Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus together up top in a 4-4-2 formation, with Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan dropping out.

Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling are on the flank, while David Silva partners Fernandinho in the middle.

Ederson retains his place between the sticks, while Kyle Walker, John Stones, Aymeric Laporte and Benjamin Mendy slot in front of him.

Rafa Benitez’s Magpies are lining up in a 5-4-1 formation, with Martin Dubravka starting in goal.

A back-five of Paul Dummett, Ciaran Clark, Federico Fernandez, Jamaal Lascelles and DeAndre Yedlin will give City’s vaunted attackers a tough time while Ayoze Perez, Mohamed Diame, Ki Sung-Young and Kenedy feature in midfield.

Summer signing Salomon Rondon leads the line for the visitors.

After last week’s draw at Wolves, City will be raring to get back to winning ways and they should, barring a monumental upset, against a side that are struggling for confidence.

Owner Mike Ashley’s clashes with the supporters and manager Rafa Benitez have sapped the morale of the players and while the Spaniard had done a fine job so far, securing even a point at the Etihad will be akin to a victory.

Newcastle United: Dubravka, Clark, Fernandez, Lascelles (C), Yedlin, Perez, Diame, Ki, Kenedy and Rondon.
