Patrice Evra may be seen as football’s funnyman, but the former Manchester United and Juventus full-back takes his social media posting very seriously.
The 36-year-old religiously uploads a new video on Instagram every Monday, accompanied with plenty of hilarious hashtags and as always, the latest post didn’t disappoint:
Not content with the video, the Marseille full-back then added a comment of his own, clarifying his unique fashion statement, “Don’t ask me why I got only one sock, new style”.
Evra’s former Juventus teammate, Dani Alves, obviously found it funny and commented “TE AMO MEU MANO, VOCE E O Melhor!”, which when translated, means: “Hahahaha love you my bro, you are the best!”
In the twilight of his career, Evra is clearly having fun along the way and his videos go viral within minutes of him posting them, leading many to give him the moniker “King of Instagram”. Here’s a ‘serious’ video of him working out if you need further proof:
