Despite the drama revolving around Neymar Jr’s possible transfer which ended in anti-climax in the recently concluded transfer slot, the story around his transfer far from over.

According to a report carried by Diario Gol, an online sports portal, the Brazilian could move to Real Madrid instead of Barcelona after the latter failed to sign him in from Paris-Saint Germain (PSG) in the summer transfer window.

La Liga giants Barcelona failed to sign Neymar and many in the camp including Lionel Messi believes that the club did not do enough to sign their former star player.

Consequently, Neymar’s father wants his son to join a club where he gets respect, as well as regular playing time and reportedly both son and father, have shortlisted Real Madrid as such a club.

This could be a massive blow for Barcelona and their star player Lionel Messi who has admitted on many occasions that he wants Neymar at Barcelona because of what he would contribute to the team.

As of now, it seems that President Florentino Perez will have the last laugh in this entire Neymar drama.
