I played for you and my country, I will keep playing),” Shami wrote on Twitter.

Earlier this month, Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan had accused him of adultery, domestic violence and match-fixing. Following the match-fixing allegation, the Supreme Court of India appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) had requested Neeraj Kumar, former Police Commissioner of Delhi and Head of BCCI Anti-Corruption Unit, to investigate the allegations against Shami, pertaining to the provisions of the BCCI Anti-Corruption Code.
