Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has advised the country’s junior selection committee not to send young pacer Naseem Shah to play the upcoming U-19 World Cup in January next year.
Hafeez feels that the youngster has already gained experience in international cricket and hence it should be wise if another bowler is sent in place of him.
Meanwhile, Hafeez wants the 16-year-old pace sensation to work hard technically and physically to get better at international level.
Notably, Shah has been named in the U19 World Cup squad of Pakistan announced by PCB earlier this month.
“Humble suggestion 2 Junior selection committee not 2 send Naseem shah to play under 19 world cup.He already played international cricket & should work hard Technically & Physically to get better at that level.Would be fruitful to use this opportunity to send any other fast bowler (sic),” tweeted Hafeez.

Naseem on Monday became the youngest fast bowler to take five wickets in a Test innings. He achieved the feat playing against Sri Lanka in the Karachi Test, which the visitors lost by 263 runs.
The right-arm pacer reached the milestone at 16 years and 307 days as he returned the figures of 5 for 31 in Sri Lanka’s second innings of the match.
