Mohamed Salah may be ripping it up on the pitch but the Liverpool winger continues to win hearts off it and his latest Instagram post, in which he’s wished club mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain a speedy recovery, has gone viral for all the right reasons.
I wish you all the best and I’m confident you’ll be back even stronger than before.

Liverpool announced Oxlade-Chamberlain’s season for club and country was over after he suffered a knee injury during their 5-2 romp over Roma in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final.
Oxlade-Chamberlain had cleanly tackled Roma fullback Aleksandar Kolarov but somehow got his knee stuck in the follow through and was unable to continue.

Despite the early setback, the Reds stormed to a 5-0 lead against the hapless Serie A outfit and while they did suffer a slight defensive collapse in the end to ship two late goals, remain overwhelming favourites to reach their first Champions League final in over a decade.
Salah, as has been his wont this season, was the star of the show as he scored a first-half brace before helping himself to two assists but the fact that he was genuinely concerned by his teammates’s injury will just add to his popularity.

The reigning PFA Player of the Year, Salah is now an outside bet to win the Ballon d’Or as well, something that would have seemed preposterous at the start of the season.
He’s topping the scoring charts across Europe’s five leagues but the fact that the Reds are on the verge of a continental crown just solidifies his claim for an accolade that hasn’t been won by anyone apart from Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for over 10 years now.
