WWE wrestler Jinder Mahal, who is the World Champion in his first reign, met the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, in Mumbai on Saturday.
Jinder, who has been one of the main event stars of the company, is a big fan of cricket and that’s why he didn’t miss an opportunity to meet the cricketing legend during his stay in India.
The Indian origin, Punjabi to be precise, wrestler loves his ethnicity and culture. He wears a turban during his entry to squared circle in WWE with a Punjabi song playing in the background. Jinder is not only the first Indian wrestler to become a WWE champion but also the longest reigning champion of the Indian descent.
WWE will be coming back to India in December as part of its LIVE tour in the country and what better way to promote the event in advance by sending their hero to the country of his ancestors.
During his India tour, the wrestler made sure that he gets 1.3 billion eyes on him as he visited New Delhi and Mumbai and even met one of his favourite sportsperson — Sachin Tendulkar.
Sachin and his son, Arjun Tendulkar, met the ‘Modern Day Maharaja’ during his visit to Mumbai and even shared some of the photos of their meeting on his Instagram account.
Sachin was accompanied by his son Arjun, who is also a budding cricketer.
The Modern Day Maharaja also posed in front of India Gate in his signature sinister look, which is quite appealing!
