A few years post Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs retired from football and decided to take up coaching, the Red Devils have found another Welsh forward in their squad. Daniel James has made an impact immediately after being signed by the Premier League giants in the summer transfer window.

In a short period of time, Daniel James has made a name for himself. He scored in his debut match for Manchester United against Chelsea- a dream come true moment for most young footballers growing up in the United Kingdom.

He then followed it up with another couple of goals so far. He has been in phenomenal form even with his national team, Wales, having scored for them too and his national team coach has only words of praise to say for him.

“It’s a difficult one,” Giggs said about James and his goal as quoted by Fox Sports Asia.

“He’s had a tough couple of months. All of a sudden he’s getting the headlines.

“Do you rest him, do you keep him in? And he wanted to play. [I just] gave him 50 minutes and he deserved that goal.

“He’s one of those players where you know what he’s going to do, but you can’t stop him,” he added

Notably, the 21-year-old youngster scored the only goal of the match against Belarus. Giggs then replaced him by Gareth Bale.
