The biggest signing of the season for Manchester United was Harry Maguire from Manchester City. His signing also meant that somebody like a Marcos Rojo was a surplus to the requirement of the team.

On the last day of the English transfer window, Rojo was very close to a move out of the club and it was Everton who were bidding for him. However, United pulled out of the deal at the last moment since they believed that Everton could be one of the teams that could challenge them for a top-four place and they would not want their top player Rojo to feature in such a side.

Consequently, Rojo remained at Manchester United but wasn’t happy since his move to Everton had been blocked at the last moment. As per reports carried by Sport Witness, Manchester United have now finally reached an agreement with Turkish club Fenerbahce regarding his transfer.

The reports claim that sporting director of Fenerbahce, Damien Comolli, has in fact overseen the transfer negotiations and both the concerned parties have reached an agreement which implies that Rojo is all set to join the Turkish club on loan.

Although the 29-year-old has a few years remaining in his contract, he is not in the scheme of things as far as team manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is concerned. Rojo, notably, made just six appearances for them across all the competitions in the previous season and if he stays in Club he might feature in similar number of matches.

Reports add that Alexis Sanchez might exit the club as well but reports are yet to be confirmed.
