Manchester United have agreed to a fee for Everton for Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, the Red Devils confirmed on Saturday.
“Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has agreed a fee with Everton for the transfer of Romelu Lukaku. The transfer is subject to a medical and personal terms,” according to the club in a statement.
“A further announcement will be made in due course,” the club stated.
United had said to be chasing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata but changed track to pursue the Everton front-man, who has scored over a 100 goals since moving to England in recent days.
While the exact figure has not been confirmed, the 24-year-old is expected to cost United a sum of £75 million.
