If reports from certain sections of the media are to believed, Manchester City star player Kevin de Bruyne is reportedly feeling ‘restless’ at the club amid interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The Belgian is widely regarded as one of the finest players in the Premier League and has proved himself time and again over the years through his consistent performances. Even though his stay at Manchester City has been laden with injuries, he has still managed to net as many as 43 goals and 75 assists in 184 matches across all competitions.
However, a report carried by Don Balon claims that De Bryune is considering a move away from the Premier League in the summer transfer window. This is because he is apparently growing restless under manager Pep Guardiola. The report also adds that Real Madrid are willing to include him in the squad and may have to bid for at least €150 million in accordance with the current transfer market rates.
The 28-year-old had joined Manchester City from Wolfsburg way back in 2015 and has played a vital role in Manchester City winning two Premier League titles. Although he missed the majority of the previous season owing to injury, he has already scored two goals and provided eight assists in the ongoing season so far.
It is worth highlighting that Guardiola has gone on record stating how he considers Kevin de Bruyne as one of his most important players and it remains to be seen if Real Madrid are willing to spend that much amount to draft in the star footballer.
