There are no fitness concerns for Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Arsenal on Saturday. However, Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita will miss the clash against Arsenal as they continue their recovery from injury.Guinean footballer Keita picked up an injury during international duty and Henderson is suffering from a hamstring injury, the midfield duo has not returned to return to full training. Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp on Friday confirmed they’ll both miss out the clash at Emirates Stadium.
However, there is a good news for Liverpool fans as their striker Salah, who was pictured wearing protective support on his right wrist, is not in doubt for the encounter with the Gunners.
Speaking to media at the pre-match press conference, Jürgen Klopp said: “Hendo feels really good but it will be probably the start of the week when he will be back in training,” before adding, “Naby [will be the] end of this week. It doesn’t make a big difference match-wise, but that’s how it looks.”

Jürgen Klopp further said, “Mo, it is nothing really serious; it’s a kind of inflammation of the tendon. That’s pretty much all, it [the support] was only for protection – the pictures you saw were only protection and it has no influence.”
Both Henderson and Keita can also miss Liverpool’s Champions League tie with Red Star Belgrade in Serbia on Tuesday night.
“In football, a not too serious injury takes still two, three or four weeks,” said Klopp. “You are lucky if you only have an injury like that, but that only means in the Premier League [you will miss] 20 games!
“They are completely in time, if you want. It’s like we expected it. We didn’t have to rush it – actually we couldn’t, but there was no reason for trying it. If the next game would be next Friday then probably both would be fit, but the next game is on Saturday and the other one on Tuesday, so that could be a bit tight.”
