Senior Indian opener Lokesh Rahul on Friday trolled Indian skipper Virat Kohli for getting his beard insured.

On Friday, KL Rahul took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter, and shared a video of Virat Kohli “getting his beard insured”.

“Haha, I knew you were obsessed with your beard @imVkohli but this news of you getting your beard insured confirms my theory,” KL Rahul captioned the video.

In the video, shared by KL Rahul, Virat is sitting on a sofa with two men clicking pictures of his beard.

Indian captain Virat Kohli is known for his leadership skills as he leads his team from the front. Virat’s performances with the bat speak volumes as the 29-year-old cricketer has broken so many records with his bat and is on the verge of breaking many more. However, what is known to very few people, Virat is very particular about his beard.

Earlier on Wednesday, Kohli’s wax statue was unveiled at the Madame Tussauds museum in New Delhi and it was also reported that the right-handed batsman’s statue had to be taken away within a day because of damage.

“I sincerely appreciate the efforts and incredible work undergone in making my figure. Thanks to Madame Tussauds for choosing me for this lifetime experience. I am grateful to my fans for their love and support. This experience is going to be stored in the fond memories of my life…now waiting to see the fan reactions,” Kohli was quoted as saying in a statement issued by Madame Tussauds.
