French tennis player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga became the latest seeded player to be knocked out of Queen's Club Championships, losing to Luxembourg's Gilles Muller 6-4, 6-4 here on Wednesday.
Muller needed just one hour and nine minutes to eliminate Tsonga, seeded No.5, and advance to the quarterfinals, reports Efe.
Tsonga's loss to 34-year-old Muller was the most recent upset in the tournament this year after defending champion Andy Murray suffered a shock first round defeat on Tuesday.
Murray, World No.1, was defeated by Australian Jordan Thompson after Swiss Stan Wawrinka and Canadian Milos Raonic, second and third seed, respectively, were knocked out.
Croatian Marin Cilic is the only player remaining from the top five seeded players in the preparatory event for Wimbledon, which starts on July 3.
