After match 39, Star Royal Challengers Bangalore bowler Umesh Yadav on Monday dethroned Mumbai Indians all-rounder Hardik Pandya from the number one position on the list of highest wicket-takers in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018.
Currently, Umesh is at the top with 14 wickets in 10 games with an economy rate of 8.15, followed by Hardik Pandya, who also has 14 wickets to his name from nine matches but his economy rate is higher at 8.49.
SunRisers Hyderabad bowlers Siddharth Kaul and Rashid Khan are at number 3 and 4 positions, respectively, with 13 wickets to their name. Kaul is ahead of Rashid in the list because of better economy rate.
Mumbai Indians player Mayank Markande and Delhi Daredevils bowler Trent Boult are at fifth and sixth positions with 13 wickets in their kitty.
