After the 47th match between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League, RR has taken the fifth spot with 12 points from as many games and with the defeat Mumbai Indians have slid two pints and currently are at number six with five wins in their 12 outings.
So far in IPL 2018, Kane Williamson-led SunRisers Hyderabad, which is also the table toppers with 18 points in 12 matches, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings have booked their berth in the IPL playoffs.
R Ashwin’s Kings XI Punjab have secured the third position in the table, for now, however, their inconsistency and fragile middle-order is a major concern for the captain.
Dinesh Karthik’s Kolkata Knight Riders are at number four with as many points as Rajasthan but with a slightly better run-rate. The two teams will face each other on Tuesday.
Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers is at number seven with four win and seven losses in 11 outings. Followed by Shreyas Iyer-led Delhi Daredevils, which are at the bottom of the table.
