Riding on wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler’s unbeaten 94-run knock, Rajasthan Royals thrashed Mumbai by seven wickets at the Wankhede stadium, Mumbai, on Sunday to keep their play-offs hope alive in the 47th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Here is the stats review of Sunday’s match:

1- Mumbai Indian opener Surya Kumar Yadav scored 473 runs in the ongoing season of IPL and by doing, so he has become the first uncapped Indian player to score more than 470 runs in a single edition. The previous record was held by Paul Valthaty (463 runs) in IPL 2011.

2- Rajasthan’s wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler has scored five consecutive fifties in his last five innings – joint most by any player in IPL ever. Virender Sehwag has also scored five consecutive half-centuries.

3- Jos Buttler has scored two unbeaten 90 plus runs — 95* against Chennai Super Kings and 94* against Mumbai Indians. Buttler is the only player in IPL to narrowly missing the 100-run mark.

4- Three times, Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma was sent back on a duck in IPL 2018 – most for a skipper and joint-most (Ishan Kishan) for a player.

5- So far, Mumbai have lost seven matches in IPL 2018, which is its third most worst performance by the team in a single IPL edition. In IPL 2008 and 2016 Mumbai had lost eight games.
